Each spring and fall, Brookside Christian Reformed Church invites the community to our Gardening Series.
Offered are free lectures by local experts on varied topics of interest to serious and amateur gardeners alike.

The Dirt on "Dirt," Gordon Griffin, Kent MSU Advance Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, and landscape designer will go over the different types of soils that are found in West Michigan and how to make amendments to the soil so your plants will thrive.

Tuff-Turf Molebusters, will tell you how to rid your property of unwanted animals such as moles, voles, raccoons, opossums, geese and others.

April 19*		 Responsible Environmental Stewardhip Starts in Our Own Backyards, Rob McCartney, former Director of Horticulture for Frederik Meijer Gardens with nearly 30 years of field and academic experience, will look at both the plants and practices of sustainability in the home landscape.
