First of all, what is a Stephen Minister? A Stephen Minister is a care giver who has been trained to provide one-to-one Christian care to people who are facing a crisis or life challenge.

The program's purpose is to restore people who feel broken down by a problem in their lives.Stephen Ministry relationships continue for a limited amount of time, from a few weeks or months to two or three years.

Stephen Ministers maintain strict confidentiality and no one else knows about the problems at hand.
